What's for Lunch This Week? A Sample Menu

Home-cooked, healthy, and nut-free — here's a look at a typical week of meals and snacks at Wisely SF.

A Few Things to Know

  • Nut-free kitchen. We never bring nuts into the space. When we want to offer a nut-butter flavor, we use Wow Butter (made from sunflower seeds).
  • Milk with morning meals; water throughout the day. We don't serve juice.
  • Family-style serving. Children serve themselves from shared dishes using tongs and spoons — building independence and fine motor skills at the same time.
  • Allergies and dietary needs. Please let us know at enrollment. We work with each family to accommodate individual needs.

We believe that learning to eat together — trying new foods, serving yourself, passing dishes to a friend — is just as important as anything else that happens in a school day.
